Destinations

Pick the trip. We plan the rest.

Six places we plan from South Africa right now. Tap any card to send the brief straight to Lizanne on WhatsApp. Indicative prices, dates and routings come back the same day, with the live options after she confirms the trade.

Every card is a real WhatsApp handoff. The brief that opens pre-fills destination, nights, travellers and pace. Add dates when you have them; add notes if you want a quieter dinner or a longer lie-in; Lizanne picks it up the same day.

Travelling with children? The family guide covers what changes with the children on the booking, and which of the six suits which age.

Travelling as a couple? The honeymoon guide reads the same six for two, with the grade bands, the season and what the First booking adds.

Stuck between two of them? The choosing guide starts with the nights you actually have, rules destinations in and out from there, and gives the honest catch on each of the six.

Want two of them in one holiday? Two centres in one trip puts the pairs that work next to the nights each one needs, with the transfer day counted rather than discovered on the road.

The one add-on outside the six is Victoria Falls: two nights on the Zambezi, in front of a Kruger trip, one hour forty five minutes from Johannesburg with no clock change. That page carries the park fees and the river readings instead of a band.

Before you pick one, look at the journey. Getting there puts the flight, the clock change and the airport transfer for all six side by side, because those three take days off a holiday and rarely appear on the price.

Not sure how long to go for? How long to go takes the length each trip is priced at, divides the published band by its own nights, and shows what the fourth safari night costs on its own.

Dates fixed already? When to go reads the home page calendar month by month, so you can see how many of the six hold your month and which ones drop out of it.

Every band on the six pages below is quoted per person sharing. If you are travelling alone, three sharing, or with a child in the room, per person sharing states what that basis assumes and which of the six pages say how a child is quoted.

Four of the seven cross a border, and each border is decided by a different department. Paperwork names the authority behind each trip, quotes what it publishes for a South African passport, and dates the reading.

What Travel & Beyond is, and is not.

  • Independent South African company.

We are not Flight Centre, not Envoyage, not an airline, not a booking engine, not a marketplace.

  • Indicative quotes only.

The number on this page is a planning range, not a price. Lizanne confirms the live option before you commit.

  • Free to the traveller.

Charges you nothing. A flat fee from the trade on completed bookings only.

  • One named consultant.

Lizanne handles the brief, the booking, the change on the day of travel, and the home check after.

Full disclosure on the home page. Indicative bands are planning ranges based on the trade's published shoulder-season pricing, refreshed when the live options land.
